Nissan Cube® Design

Original inside and out

It's no secret, Cube was all about standing out, but there was remarkable function behind its form. Built to max out interior space while being a snap to manoeuvre, Cube's playful design had serious perks when zipping around town or tackling busy parking lots. The new Kicks takes it a step further, with trendy looks and all the benefits of a compact.

Nissan Cube® Exterior

Curves that come alive

Unusual doesn’t do it justice. Nissan Cube was unconventional down to the very last detail. Instantly recognizable, its geometric exterior gave way to friendly, rounded edges that signalled a ride like none other. Large-scale wraparound windows added to Cube’s inimitable style, while increasing visibility all around. If you’re looking for a compact utility vehicle that’s big on personality, take a moment to check out Nissan Kicks.

Nissan Cube® Interior

It’s all about vibe

Inside the Cube, unconventional design took an unexpected shape: rounded windows, oval air vents, a wavy dashboard and a curved headliner – inspired by the ripples of a rain drop. Reclining rear seats gave the interior a lounge-like feel, while customizable lighting options and trim colours let you define the vibe. Kicks goes even further to provide those personal touches, with fashionable interior trims and LED lighting.

Want a Stylish Interior?

Kicks® has you covered

Cube was a vibe. And while Kicks has its own kind of flair, its interior cabin leans into the chic, modern touches that set the newer generation of Nissan vehicles apart. Take a closer look at all the stylish details.

Nissan Cube® Cargo Space

Pack in the fun

Cube’s interior was more than just a fresh take on cabin design. Made to maximize space, it was also extremely practical. Folding rear seats and ample room for cargo made it a breeze to load cumbersome items. A swinging rear door provided easy access, while colourful bungees and utility pouches kept smaller items nice and secure. If smart storage is your thing, you’ll appreciate the 60/40 folding rear seats in the Nissan Kicks.

Nissan Cube® Performance

Easy on the tank

With its substantial size and dimensions, Cube was surprisingly light on fuel. Its 1.8L engine had plenty of pickup without sacrificing efficiency. Today, Kicks does even better with a combined fuel economy of up to 7.2 L/100 km – a number that outshines many other vehicles in the segment. [[1909]]

Nissan Cube® Handling

Light and lively

Designed for urban driving, the Nissan Cube offered nimble handling on top of its excellent fuel efficiency. Front-Wheel Drive made it great for weaving through the city streets, with added traction up front. Kicks takes downtown driving up another notch with lightweight design that moves the needle on acceleration and torque.

Nissan Cube® Safety

Savvy on the streets

Cube wasn’t just about style. It was engineered to help keep you safe and secure on the road. In fact, the Nissan Cube was recognized as Top Safety Pick from 2010–2013 by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Kicks now carries the torch, offering smart safety features and driver assist tech to boost awareness and confidence wherever you go. [[2034]]

Nissan Cube® RearView Monitor

Unique perspective

With a wrapping rear windshield, Nissan Cube was all about improving visibility. But it didn’t stop there. The RearView Monitor displayed a live feed of the area behind your car while parking. Since then, we’ve developed our Intelligent Around View® Monitor. It delivers a virtual 360° bird’s-eye view of your vehicle while manoeuvring into a space. Kicks offers this and more. [[2015]]

Nissan Cube® Technology

Connect and chill

Cube was decked out with a handy in-dash display and a circular control panel conveniently located on the centre console. Six speakers and Bluetooth wireless tech meant you could pump the jams or take calls hands-free, while kicking back in the lounge-like cabin. With hi-fi Bose® speakers built right into the driver’s headrest, Kicks takes infotainment even more seriously. Stream your favourite playlists with seamless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. [[1300]][[1522]][[1510]][[1507]]
